Our Studio

Hip-O Taxidermy is owned and operated by Robert and Caroline Stockwell.

Robert Stockwell is a state and national award winning taxidermist with 20 years of experience in the taxidermy industry.  This is the premiere taxidermy studio in West TX.

We also offer, ice, cold storage and game processing for our clients.

Thanks to all of our customers for a great year! For your convenience and ours we've moved to a larger studio/show room near town. We're now located at 2801 A E. Hwy. 90 between Big Bend Saddlery and Highland Concrete on the East side of Alpine.

           

Our new studio is 3250 sq. ft. giving us the room to add more equipment. Stop in for a visit and look at our new display room, we've got some excellent mounts on display for your viewing pleasure.
 

Custom mounts of your choice available upon request. Call for availability. Some are in stock, others will be custom mounted to your specifications with the normal turnaround time, usually 10 to 14 months. Custom mounts require a 50% deposit and final payment before shipping.
